The Rufus is Rune Bicycles' first frame — and they came out swinging. Built as a genuine do-it-all, the Rufus is as comfortable loaded up for a weekend tour as it is on a daily commute or a spirited weekend ride. Comfortable, capable, and good-looking enough that you'll actually want to take it out every day.
Constructed from 4130 chromoly steel with TIG welding and a brazed lugged headtube and seat cluster, the Rufus has the kind of ride quality that chromoly is known for: smooth, forgiving, and built to last. Designed around 650b, it runs best with a 1x drivetrain but can take a double if that's the preference. Flat mount disc brakes front and rear, thru-axles, and braze-ons throughout mean it's ready for racks, fenders, and whatever else you want to bolt on.
