Collection: SimWorks

Another big favourite of ours — and yes, we get a bit misty-eyed about this one.

SimWorks is what happens when you mix deep bike nerdery, proper Japanese craftsmanship, and a slightly stubborn refusal to make boring things. They care about imagination. They care about quality of life. And they care a lot about doing things properly.

They come from the idea that bikes used to be local, personal, welded by someone who actually knew your name. Japan was once at the centre of bicycle production, but as manufacturing moved and originality thinned out, something got lost. SimWorks looked at that and said, “Alright then. Let’s make it better.”

Their whole thing is thoughtful consumption and meaningful creation — buy less, choose well, make it count. Bikes aren’t just hobbies. They’re transport. They’re daily rituals. They’re freedom machines with handlebars.

A lot of what they do is small-batch, handmade, collaborative — real monozukuri energy (the Japanese spirit of making things properly, not just quickly). They connect makers, shops, and riders so everyone’s part of the conversation.

Serious about craft. Playful at heart. This rings very true about our shop, as well!
